Tim Delaney has been an active percussionist for over 30 years. He graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Music Therapy. His first taste of playing steel drums was at a week long camp at Northern Illinois University, in the summer of 1990. Since then, he has provided quality steel drum entertainment across the Midwest and Southern Florida . Several trips to the Caribbean have given him a greater appreciation and knowledge for the instrument, music and culture of the islands.
Steely Pan uses expertly sequenced bass and drum tracks to enhance the solo steel drum performance. This gives you the sound of a four piece band for the price of a solo act. The music repertoire is comprised of tunes from the Caribbean, including: rhythmic Reggae, hot Soca, chanting Calypso and some of your favorite pop tunes.
Steely Pan has been featured on several TV and radio stations across the Midwest and appears regularly at summer festivals and outdoor concerts.
Steely Pan is great for any occasion. From wedding receptions to outdoor concerts, Steely Pan brings the sights and sounds of the Caribbean to your special event.
